Sunset Canyonlands Tour
SUNSET CANYONLANDS NATIONAL PARK TOUR
To see Canyonlands National Park at sunset is truly spectacular! Make certain you have your camera ready, as the warm and golden light in the minutes before the sun dips below the horizon is great for picture taking. After the sun disappears below the horizon, the twilight sky and the beautiful landscape begin to light up with vivid reds and oranges that make sunsets so striking in Canyonlands! A truly once in a lifetime opportunity that you must experience.
The flight will take you over the northern district scenery of Canyonlands National Park, better known as Island in the Sky. You’ll see 1,000-foot high cliffs along the Colorado and Green Rivers. You’ll look down at Upheaval Dome, Angel Arch, Wedding Arch and other popular hidden backcountry arches that are not easily accessible to hikers. This sunset national parks tour will also take you through the Needles District of Canyonlands, the most colorful area with pink and white bands wrapping along the spires and cliffs.
Our new Canyonlands National Park sunset tour is a must for all photography buffs, and offers once-in-a-lifetime views from the air of the remote backcountry of Canyonlands.

Reviews from our guests
“We decided to ‘see’ Arches & Canyonlands from above first, then explore each on foot. Best decision ever. There were things we couldn’t get to on foot, and, seeing the vast expanse of the parks was breath – taking. Dan, our pilot, was the best. Smooth takeoff and landing, great knowledge of what we were looking at, and fun personality. Highly recommend this flight!”

“A friend and I took the Canyonlands and Arches tour and it was so worth it! We got amazing views and fabulous information about the area – both current and historical. The scenery was breathtaking. Also, ask for Craig to be your pilot – he was engaging, funny and super chill.”
“Amazing views of places in the parks you wouldn’t normally see otherwise. The pilot was knowledgeable, knowing what the best sights are, their names, and some places that people can’t get to without a long hike. Incredible perspectives of the Confluence between the Green and Colorado rivers, arches, canyons, and more!”
“We had James as our pilot for an 11AM flight. My wife was particularly nervous from claustrophobia and a fear of heights. But James had a very calming personality and was an excellent pilot during take-off, the whole flight, and landing. We got great views of Arches, Canyonlands, La Salle Mountains and Colorado River. Amazing experience, and would absolutely recommend.”
“My husband and I were on our way to Colorado for a wedding and had never been to Moab. Only had part of a day to see the sights. What a way to go!!! Excellent price, excellent service. Craig, our pilot, gave us the best tour of the entire area. Couldn’t have asked for a better way to go. Anyone wanting to see it all, book this trip. We will go back.”
