Sunset Canyonlands Tour
SUNSET CANYONLANDS TOUR
To see Moab’s magnificent canyonlands country at sunset is truly spectacular! Make certain you have your camera ready, as the warm and golden light in the minutes before the sun dips below the horizon is great for picture taking. After the sun disappears below the horizon, the twilight sky and the beautiful landscape begin to light up with vivid reds and oranges that make sunsets so striking in canyonlands! This truly is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that you must experience.
The flight will take you over Dead Horse Point, Thelma and Louise Point, Gemini Bridges, the Potash Ponds, and Kane Creek Canyon. You’ll see 1,000-foot-high cliffs along the Colorado and Green Rivers. You’ll look down at Balcony, Picture Frame Arch, Corona Arch, and other popular hidden backcountry arches that are not easily accessible to hikers. The tour finishes with a fly over the Moab Rim and the Moab Valley, then on to the spectacular Castle Valley and Fisher Tours—the most colorful area with orange, pink, and white bands wrapping along the spires and cliffs.
Our sunset canyonlands tour is a must for all photography buffs, as it offers once-in-a-lifetime views from the air of the remote backcountry of canyonlands!
We also offer a morning flight of Canyonlands and a Canyonlands & Arches tour!
