COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOL? ARE MASKS REQUIRED?
Yes, masks are required on all flights and our aircraft are disinfected between flights.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Passengers are required to request cancellation at least 24 hours in advance to receive a full refund. Cancellations inside 24 hours are not eligible to have their fares refunded.
ARE RESERVATIONS REQUIRED? HOW FAR IN ADVANCE?
Not necessarily. We do occasionally have seats available the day of the flight, call (435) 259-7421 for availability. You can book seven months in advance on our website.
CAN WE ADD A PERSON TO THE BOOKING WE ALREADY MADE? CAN WE CHANGE THE NAMES ON A RESERVATION?
Yes, you can add a person to a booking if we have availability. To change the name on a reservation, please call Redtails Guest Services at (435) 259-7421.
HOW MUCH DOES THIS COST?
Our scenic flight rates start at $119 per person with children 12 and under half price. Our tours include headsets and are narrated by our knowledgeable pilots.
WHAT IS YOUR AGE POLICY/RECOMMENDATION?
All ages are welcome on our flights! Children over 24 months must sit in their own seat on the plane. Booster pillows are provided by Redtail Air. Children under the age of 12 are half price on all flights.
WHAT IF I GET SICK DURING THE TOUR?
Paper bags are available on all our flights for passengers feeling queasy. Support bands are available at check-in upon request.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AIRPLANE AND BIPLANE TOURS?
DO WE ACTUALLY FLY OVER THE NATIONAL PARK?
Yes! Depending on the tour, you could fly over Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park or Monument Valley! Redtail Air has scheduled flights with set routes to see the most scenic areas over southeast Utah. If you would like to see more, Redtail also offers private charter flights. Redtail Air is the only air carrier with permits to fly directly over Arches and Canyonlands National Parks!
WHAT IS YOUR WEATHER POLICY?
On the rare occasion, your flight may be canceled due to weather conditions. In those situations, we will work with you to reschedule your flight, or if necessary, provide a full refund.

WHICH TOUR IS THE BEST FOR FAMILIES?
Flying a scenic flight with Redtail is extremely popular for families and is a great family activity! The Arches/Canyonlands tour is popular with families as you get to see both National Parks.

ARE DOGS ALLOWED? ARE SERVICE ANIMALS ALLOWED?
Sorry, per FAA regulations, pets are not allowed on the aircraft. Service animals are allowed with proper documentation indicating that the animal is a service animal.

Tours start and end at Canyonlands Regional Airport. Parking is available at the airport free of charge.

CAN I BRING ALCOHOL?
No, alcohol is not allowed on our aircraft.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION? WHAT IS YOUR SEASON?
Redtail flies year-round, weather depending. Our hours of operation are 7:00 am – 7:00 pm in season and 9:00 am – 5:00 pm during the winter season.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN FIT?
Up to 9 in a single plane, multiple planes for larger groups.

CAN WE GO WITH A LARGE GROUP?
Redtail can fit up to 9 in a single plane, and have multiple planes available for larger groups.
DO YOU HAVE OTHER LOCATIONS?
All scenic flights originate at Canyonlands Regional Airport, 17 miles north of downtown Moab.
WHAT LANGUAGES ARE YOUR TOURS OFFERED IN? CAN I BOOK A TOUR IF I DON'T SPEAK ENGLISH?
We welcome all ethnicities on our flights. Our guided flights are narrated in English only.

HOW DOES YOUR SHUTTLE SERVICE WORK?
Redtail does not offer shuttle services to the airport. For transportation assistance to the airport, please contact Moab Express at (435) 260-9289. Moab Express is Moab’s premier airport shuttle provider.

WILL THERE BE A BATHROOM BREAK?
Our aircraft do not contain restrooms, so please use the restrooms in the terminal prior to your scheduled departure.
