Passengers are required to request cancellation at least 24 hours in advance to receive a full refund. Cancellations inside 24 hours are not eligible to have their fares refunded.
Not necessarily. We do occasionally have seats available the day of the flight, call (435) 259-7421 for availability. You can book seven months in advance on our website.
Yes, you can add a person to a booking if we have availability. To change the name on a reservation, please call Redtails Guest Services at (435) 259-7421.
Our scenic airplane tour rates start at $169 per person with children under the age of 12 flying for 25% off the price on all flights. Our tours include headsets and are narrated by our knowledgeable pilots.
All ages are welcome on our flights! Children over 24 months must sit in their own seat on the plane. Booster pillows are provided by Redtail Air. Children under the age of 12 fly for 25% off the price on all flights.
Flying a scenic flight with Redtail is extremely popular for families and is a great family activity! The Arches/Canyonlands tour is popular with families as you get to see both National Parks.

Redtail Air highly recommends the Fairfield Inn & Suites, Springhill Suites, Hoodoo by Hilton, Aarchway Inn, Canyonlands Best Western, and the Hyatt Place. All are outstanding places to stay!
The minimum number of passengers on a flight is two. The maximum is almost unlimited! If you have a large group contact our guest services team at (435) 259-7421 or by email at vip@flyredtail.com.

Yes! Depending on the tour, you could fly over Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park or Monument Valley! Redtail Air has scheduled flights with set routes to see the most scenic areas over southeast Utah. If you would like to see more, Redtail also offers private charter flights. Redtail Air is the only air carrier with permits to fly directly over Arches and Canyonlands National Parks!
On the rare occasion, your flight may be canceled due to weather conditions. In those situations, we will work with you to reschedule your flight, or if necessary, provide a full refund.
Tours start and end at Canyonlands Regional Airport. Parking is available at the airport free of charge.
Our aircraft do not contain restrooms, so please use the restrooms in the terminal prior to your scheduled departure.
Sorry, per FAA regulations, pets are not allowed on the aircraft. Service animals are allowed with proper documentation indicating that the animal is a service animal.
Please contact us at (435) 259-7421 to let us know when you will be arriving. Our aircraft are scheduled for exact departure times, however, we will do our best to accommodate passengers who are running late.
Return times are based on the tour type and the length of the tour. For example, the Arches tour will return approximately 40 minutes after departure, the Monument Valley tour will return 2 1/2 hours after departure.
No, alcohol is not allowed on our aircraft.
For passengers who may need special assistance, please contact guest services at (435) 259-7421. Yes, women who are expecting are welcome to fly with us.
Paper bags are available on all our flights for passengers feeling queasy. Support bands are available at check-in upon request.
Tips are entirely at a passenger’s discretion, however, if you received great service on your flight then our pilots will certainly appreciate a gratuity!

Redtail flies year-round, weather depending. Our hours of operation are 7:00 am – 7:00 pm in season and 9:00 am – 5:00 pm during the winter season.

All scenic flights originate at Canyonlands Regional Airport, 17 miles north of downtown Moab.
Redtail does not offer shuttle services to the airport. For transportation assistance to the airport, please contact Moab Express at (435) 260-9289. Moab Express is Moab’s premier airport shuttle provider.
We welcome all ethnicities on our flights. Our guided flights are narrated in English only.
