Tour Overview
JOIN US ON OUR MOST DETAILED TOUR OF SEVERAL AREAS AROUND MOAB
This tour will cover every must-see vista and notable formation around Moab in an extensive 60-minute tour. This tour covers every iconic view in the classic 45-minute Island in the Sky of Canyonlands helicopter tour and includes some outstanding views you will only see with this extended experience.
With giant panoramic windows and a lower and slower flight pattern than airplanes, our helicopter tours will grant you a direct, front-row view of Canyonlands National Park and several beautiful areas around Moab.
SEE UNPARALLELED VIEWS OF CANYONLANDS NATIONAL PARK AND MORE
Helicopters are not allowed over the park, but we get as close as possible to the dramatic vistas found in and around Canyonlands National Park. Your pilot will identify and offer several vantage points of famous areas like Thelma and Louise Point and Dead Horse Point.
As you fly to and from the park, your pilot will point out dozens of stunning rock features hiding in plain sight. Get unparalleled views of the vibrant Potash Ponds, Corona Arch, Pritchett Arch, Halls Bridge, Funnel Arch, Kane Creek Canyon, Behind the Rocks and many other spectacular sights that would take weeks to see by foot.
TAKE IN VIEWS ONLY AVAILABLE ON THE EXTENDED TOUR
The extra time spent in the air on this extended tour will take you even further into Moab Valley. As you cross into Castle Valley, you will approach Castleton Tower, one of the world’s most famous rock features, standing proudly against the sky. As you continue to Porcupine Rim, you may spot brave mountain bikers tackling a technical trail near the cliff’s edge.
You will also get a bird’s eye view of the world-famous Hells Revenge Jeep Trail, where you can watch rowdy vehicles kicking up dust. As you make your way home, your pilot will share stunning perspectives of Otho Natural Bridge – a giant, prominent natural rock bridge stretching hundreds of feet.
ENGAGING GUIDES, EXPERT PILOTS AND LIFETIME MOAB ENTHUSIASTS
Wearing special headphones, your pilot can interact with you, share stories of Moab Valley and explain the historical and geological significance of every arch, canyon and scenic point you encounter on this stunning helicopter tour.
From reaching the edge of Canyonlands National Park to finding several hard-to-reach iconic backcountry views, you will experience endless unforgettable moments only possible when you take to the skies.
