Lake Powell & Canyonlands Combo Tour

Depart Canyonlands Regional Airport and fly the beautiful Colorado River down the west side of Canyonlands National Park, getting a bird’s-eye view of the famous Cataract Canyon rapids. Continue on your adventure to see magnificent Lake Powell, including Rainbow Bridge National Monument, Tower Butte, the famous Hole-in-the-Rock Road crevice, Glen Canyon Dam, and on to the remarkable Horseshoe Bend. Take the perfect aerial photos as you follow the lake’s shoreline and canyon, soaring over Wahweap Marina and its hundreds of houseboats, Castle Rock, and Alstrom Point. The blue waters of this pristine lake set against the red rocks of Glen Canyon provide a stunning backdrop to any movie.

Lake Powell has over 2,000 miles of shoreline, which is more than the combined states on the Pacific Coast. After seeing the north and south shorelines, we follow the Colorado River towards Canyonlands National Park and Dead Horse State Park. Beautiful areas in and around this special state park include: Thelma and Louise Point, Potash Evaporation Ponds, and The Moab Fault.

Reviews from our guests

“We decided to ‘see’ Arches & Canyonlands from above first, then explore each on foot. Best decision ever. There were things we couldn’t get to on foot, and, seeing the vast expanse of the parks was breath – taking. Dan, our pilot, was the best. Smooth takeoff and landing, great knowledge of what we were looking at, and fun personality. Highly recommend this flight!”

“A friend and I took the Canyonlands and Arches tour and it was so worth it! We got amazing views and fabulous information about the area – both current and historical. The scenery was breathtaking. Also, ask for Craig to be your pilot – he was engaging, funny and super chill.”

“Amazing views of places in the parks you wouldn’t normally see otherwise. The pilot was knowledgeable, knowing what the best sights are, their names, and some places that people can’t get to without a long hike. Incredible perspectives of the Confluence between the Green and Colorado rivers, arches, canyons, and more!”

“We had James as our pilot for an 11AM flight. My wife was particularly nervous from claustrophobia and a fear of heights. But James had a very calming personality and was an excellent pilot during take-off, the whole flight, and landing. We got great views of Arches, Canyonlands, La Salle Mountains and Colorado River. Amazing experience, and would absolutely recommend.”

“My husband and I were on our way to Colorado for a wedding and had never been to Moab. Only had part of a day to see the sights. What a way to go!!! Excellent price, excellent service. Craig, our pilot, gave us the best tour of the entire area. Couldn’t have asked for a better way to go. Anyone wanting to see it all, book this trip. We will go back.”
